Rod Hendricks
Rod has a unique background with more that 20 years of national and international experience in the industrial, energy and environment protection arena. He is a pragmatic environmentalist who has opted to use his mechanical and electrical engineering training to provide real solutions to real environment problems. Rod’s environmental area of expertise is air pollution control and elimination of emissions from industrial and manufacturing processes, and to this end he is regarded as a first class strategist and has established a sound reputation for creating solutions and bringing original thinking and innovation to a diverse range of applications. Having completed research in the eighties, which highlighted that industry spends on average, five times to fix the same pollution problem before getting it right, Rod vowed to redress this problem. His simple and highly successful formula to getting it right the first time, is to simply get into the process and do sound engineering at the start, then commit to and guarantee the performance outcome. This philosophy lead to Rod co-foundering the mainstream air pollution control company, Air Pollution Systems in 1994. In 2001, Rod then founded the specialist high tech engineering and manufacturing company, Tri Energy, which focused on delivering turn-key solutions to problems that industry has for far too long turned its back on, particularly in the energy generation and minerals processing sectors. Rod’s eleven year record of engineering systems with guaranteed performance levels, and in that time not having a single system failure, won him the rights to further develop and implement the emerging, near zero emission technologies for fossil fuelled power generation. This has lead to Rod establishing in 2005 the specialist consulting, technology development and project management company, Emissionless Pty. Ltd. Rod studied mechanical engineering at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and has become an industrial designer with numerous main stream and cutting edge installations to his credit, as well being an inventor of a handful of environment protection and energy minimisation devices.
